On to China!

The government in China blocked all blogs - therefore I am filling this in after my return.

I flew to Hong Kong from San Francisco - about a fourteen hour flight. I had a two hour lay over there and then hopped a Dragon Air to Xiamen. I was picked up by Mr. Jackie and Mr. Zahn who took me to the apartment. It is located in Huibin Xi Road. The apartment was on the 6th floor - yep - a walk up! It was air conditioned and pleasant. With temps in the 90s every day and really humid - the AC was most appreciated. I shared the floor with two Jesuit scholastics who rock. John from Brophy occupied the third apartment on the floor.

The morning after I landed in Xiamen, we ( Curtis, Alex, and I) hopped a plane destined for Beijing.
