We visited other sites that are well known in the city. The temps were really hot - 90 degrees. We stayed in a hotel in "Old Beijing" - it was ok. The area was pretty neat. We walked around at night and found some good restaurants... no one spoke English - so ordering food always had a surprise element. We did discover the "jigga" meant "this one" - so we would point to an item and hope for the best!
